The HUMAN PERFORMANCE MODELING TECHNICAL GROUP The Human Performance Modeling Technical Group focuses on the development and application of predictive, reliable, and executable quantitative models of human performance. In distinction to other approaches to behavioral and cognitive modeling, human performance modeling considers the human, engaged in some goal-directed behavior, in the context of a designed task environment.

    The Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering Department at Texas Tech University is seeking applications working for a tenured/tenure-track position at all ranks. Even though an emphasis will be given to exceptional senior candidates who may be considered for the E.L. Derr Endowed Professorship, the tenure-track candidates (Assistant Professor Position) in all areas of Human Factors and Ergonomics are highly encouraged for this position.
