The HUMAN PERFORMANCE MODELING TECHNICAL GROUP The Human Performance Modeling Technical Group focuses on the development and application of predictive, reliable, and executable quantitative models of human performance. In distinction to other approaches to behavioral and cognitive modeling, human performance modeling considers the human, engaged in some goal-directed behavior, in the context of a designed task environment.

    Dear HPM-TG members,

    We will have our HPM-TG business meeting online during the virtual HFES meeting. 
    Time: Oct 26, 2021, 03:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)

    During the TG business meeting, we will present the current status of the TG, announce best paper awards, and discuss other related topics. Please feel free to reply to this thread with your questions for discussion. Below are a few example questions that we could discuss during the meeting.
    • What are the gaps between industrial needs of human performance models and current models in academic research?
    • What is the impact of machine learning algorithms on human performance modeling? 
    • How could human performance modeling support explainable AI?
