    A very happy new year!!

    Please join us for a talk by Dr. Mikki Hebl: Reducing Subtle Discrimination Against Women in Academia
    January 14th 11 am PT/2 pm ET     on zoom (link provided upon registration).

    Professor Hebl will review her research showing the subtle but systemic forms of gender biases that exist in academia. For example, she will discuss biases in letters of recommendations and invitations to give colloquium talks. Additionally, she will review strategies for individuals and our academic communities to reduce these biases.
