    Promotion & Tenure Workshop
    The promotion and tenure (P&T) process is often a challenging and stressful experience for tenure-track faculty in academia, especially for women. A great deal of this stress stems from uncertainty in how to prepare for this important milestone. Accordingly, the goal of this interactive workshop is to share some best practices and guidance on the P&T process, drawing from the facilitator's own experience and that of other colleagues who have successfully navigated this challenge.

    About Dr Cuevas
    Dr. Haydee M. Cuevas is an Associate Professor in the College of Aviation School of Graduate Studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Daytona Beach, FL. Prior to joining ERAU, she worked for over 7 years as a Research Scientist at SA Technologies, Inc. She has a Ph.D. in Applied Experimental and Human Factors Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology, both from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Cuevas has 25 years of experience as a human factors researcher investigating a broad range of human performance issues in complex operational environments. Throughout her career, she has actively endeavored to promote the mentorship and professional development of students and early career professionals.
