Dear ASTG members,
I am supervising two students in a research study to help us better understand what Space Situation Awareness (SSA) includes and what SSA operators need to do in their job regarding the new professional practice of space operation and monitoring.
Participants (both practitioners and researchers are welcome) will be asked questions such as:
- What are the typical tasks of SSA operators in space object tracking and monitoring operations?
- What knowledge and skills do operators need to have?
- What information do operators need to know to perform their tasks successfully?
- How to evaluate SSA operators?
The interview takes around one hour. Participants will be given a gift card ($60).
I attached the information letters.
Thank you in advance if you like to participate or can help share this call for participants.
