Volunteers are the fuel that power HFES. We are focused on identifying and sharing more ways for our members to get involved, from short-term volunteer projects, to committee service, elected office, and more. With every new volunteer, our Society grows more energized, more diverse and inclusive, and better equipped to reach our common goals.

We encourage you to deepen your engagement with HFES and your association peers. Volunteer today! There’s no obligation to say yes if you are contacted about an opportunity.

Seeking Education and Training Committee Chair and Members

  • 1.  Seeking Education and Training Committee Chair and Members

    Posted 05-29-2024 09:13
We are seeking expressions of interest for Chair of the Education and Training Committee, as well as for members of that committee.

The Education and Training Committee (1) assesses educational and training needs for Society members, (2) develops and implements proposals to meeting them and (3) makes recommendations to the Executive Council on priorities and delivery methods.

HF/E is such a dynamic field, so there is always something new to learn.  As a member of the Education and Training Committee, you will play an important role in making sure that HFES members have access to educational and training materials that meet their needs.  It is also an excellent opportunity to network with other like-minded Society members.

Sound interesting?  If so, then please email the Education Division Chair, Keith S. Jones (keith.s.jones@ttu.edu) by July 1, 2024 to put your name in the hat.
