You should have also received an email on August 19 with the link from HFES to provide estimates for your TG budget for 2027. Note that all 2027 budget funding requests must be submitted via this form and submissions are due by Monday, August 31.
In addition, Chairs raised the questions, including improved communication channel, and updates on the preparation to the Aspire HFES Annual Meeting.

Task Force Initiative
A Task Force is the initiative that the HFES Executive Council approved and established. The charter for this task force is to develop a proposal to integrate and operationalize TGs and AGs as centrally supported member communities within the HFES membership framework. As part of the work of the task force, we are collecting input. As part of this work, we are asking you to complete a brief questionnaire about your goals as a chair, how those goals advance the HFES mission, and what services or support HFES can provide to help you strengthen member engagement, foster inclusive professional communities, and promote the application of human factors and ergonomics knowledge. We estimate that the survey will take less than 10 minutes; we hope to have responses by than September 1, 2026.
The Task Force will take your feedback into account as we move towards our goal of improving HFES' operational efficiency and financial sustainability while increasing the value of TGs and AGs as part of the HFES membership value. Please recognize, though, that we may not be able to provide everything on your wish list; we do hope to preserve the features you most value in your TG/AG membership.
