The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Human Factors Technical Section (HFTS) is looking for graduate Human Factors students to assist the section officers with various activities, promote Human Factors best practices, and grow membership both within HFST and the global SPE organization. Universities providing HF and industrial psychology degrees in the US, UK and other countries typically require students to gain practical experience in an industry of their choice. Although students cannot become members of the SPE Technical Sections, they can do work that would benefit the technical section. Subject to SPE's approval, student volunteers would be recruited from a college or university who have Human Factors graduate programs and would be either currently enrolled or a recent graduate. This would be an unpaid volunteer position.
