    The Applied Cognitive Ergonomics laboratory (ACE-Lab) in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Texas A&M University (TAMU) and Center for Outcomes Research at Houston Methodist Hospital are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow with strong background in Health Care Human Factors research. The research activities are primarily conducted at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. Candidate will work on award-winning projects including the design and evaluation of novel provider burnout detection and mitigation technologies, Telehealth platforms, and Remote Monitoring tools to assess physical and mental health and performance.

    Texas A&M University is one of a select few institutions in the nation to hold triple federal designation as a Land-Grant, Sea-Grant and Space-Grant university. It consistently ranks among the country's top engineering schools. Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at TAMU has consistently ranked among the top 10 (public) programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Houston Methodist Hospital had been ranked The Best Regional Hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report.  

    Qualifications: Interested candidates should have obtained a Ph.D. degree with a strong background in a Health Care domain. The ideal candidate will have proven talent to work independently with excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills, with a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations. Clinical research background is a plus. Experience with eye tracking is a plus.
