Dr. Nancy Cooke's talk:
Title: Lessons Learned on the Winding Road between one Unspoken Language to Another
Description: I will share some of the pivotal events that helped to shape my career in a journey that started with a focus on the unspoken language of Latin, continued with the serendipitous discovery of human factors/ergonomics, and has led to a current interest in understanding cross-species communication as a model for human-AI communication. I hope to also share some lessons learned along the way.
