  • 1.  A few things at the HFES2021

    Dear HART TG Members, 

    As many of us prepare to join the HFES2021 Annual Conference next week, here are a few things you would want to know: 

    1. HART TG Hybrid Business Meeting: Tuesday, October 5th, at 12 pm ET; 
      • Here is the Zoom link: https://asu.zoom.us/j/87203653907?pwd=Y3laNVNDdzBuS1N1ak5mMFdWRlBXZz09 Password: hart
      • If you are attending HFES2021 virtually, you can use the Zoom link to join the business meeting. There will be an extra 30 min (from 1 pm to 1:30 pm) for you to socialize with other virtual attendees in HART TG. 
      • If you are attending HFES2021 in-person, you can join us at the Faulkland Room at the conference site. The meeting will be from 12 pm - 1 pm, so you have time to grab something to eat. There will be other opportunities to socialize with other HART TG members as described below. 
      • If you are attending HFES2021 in person, but you do not feel comfortable meeting so many people in this room at the same time, you can also join the Business meeting via Zoom and then join other social events later. 
    2. HART TG Networking room: Tuesday and Wednesday during business hours
      • Faulkland Room is reserved as our HART TG networking room during HFES2021. You can come to this room anytime on Tuesday and Wednesday during business hours to either meet other HART TG members or just take a break; 
    3. HART TG Happy Hour: Tuesday, October, 5th from 6 pm to 8 pm ET
      • Eric Holder sent out an email on September 24th titled "HART Happy Hour". This post is the confirmation of his email notification.
      • Happy Hour Address: Dogwatch Tavern at 709 S Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231, dogwatchtavern.com. This is right down the block from the conference in the Fell's Point area, which is a nice area in general to check out.
    4. HART 1st Video Contest: Survey closes at the end of Friday, October 1st 
      • All HART TG members should have received an email titled, "Vote for HART Video Contest 2021". If you have not submitted your vote, please do so by the end of Friday, October 1st. We will announce the results at our Business meeting on October 5th.

    Dear HART TG members,
    The physical location of the HART TG Annual business meeting (on Tuesday at noon) is changed to Essex room, a bigger room with projection equipment. It is on the same 4th floor as the Falkland room and very close to each other. Essex is the first room to the right after you exit the escalator. The Zoom link for virtual attendees remains the same. Falkland is still reserved for our TG's networking usage on Tuesday and Wednesday. See you tomorrow.
