For the ~80 of you here in Baltimore, there will be a CEDM reception at McCormick and Schmick's on Wed, Oct 6, 5:30-6:30pm. Please join us for hors d'oeuvres and cash bar to catch up with your CEDM colleagues in a beautiful waterfront setting. Exit the Marriott towards the water, walk across the bridge, and you'll see McCormick & Schmick's in front of you. Enter the restaurant and walk straight through to the back.

Thanks to Heather Lum, Michael Dorneich, Mike Rayo, Eleanore Dias, and Kate Kapolo for their leadership this past two years. We need nominations for new enthusiastic CEDM members to fill these officer positions:
- Chair Elect (to assist the chair and become chair in two years)
- Program Chair Elect (to assist the Program Chair and become Program Chair in two years)
- Secretary/Treasurer (to take meeting minutes and keep our finances on track)
- Electronic Communications Director (to keep our social media and website active)
