Dear CEDM members,
HFES will move next year to a new Technical group officer model. The TG Chair, TG Vice Chair (formerly Chair-Elect), Program Chair, and Program Vice Chair will now be the only elected positions. All other officer roles are by appointment of the TG Chair. Additionally, terms now start Jan 1, and officers serve for one year.
We have had two year terms up until now, so all four elected roles are set for next year. However, we have an opening for Secretary/Treasurer. Duties are primarily to track the meetings and send out annual notes for the business meetings with membership, and to work with HFES staff on any budget issues.
If you would like to be considered for the role, please send a short paragraph to me Michael Dorneich (dorneich@iastate.edu) and Mike Rayo (rayo.3@osu.edu) by December 6, 2024.
