SDTG Call for Papers - 65th Annual Meeting

  • 1.  SDTG Call for Papers - 65th Annual Meeting

    Posted 03-01-2021 22:43
    SDTG Members,
As you are likely aware, the deadline for papers for this year's Annual Meeting has been extended until Wednesday, 12 March 2021. We're looking forward to seeing everyone in Baltimore, and hope you consider submitting your papers, posters, and panels for the SDTG this year. While we are always interested in contributions towards the overarching SDTG objective of the integration of human factors and ergonomics (HF/E) into the development of systems, we are particularly interested in contributions towards several topical areas, including, but not limited to:
    • AI/ML: Employing HF/E in the development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) systems.
    • Impact: Case studies where HF/E had a measurable effect on the systems development lifecycle (e.g. increased human-machine performance, decreased schedule, costs, or rework).
    • Null Findings: Lessons learned from studies where hypotheses were not supported. Emphasis should be placed on explaining the current literature and the validity of the methods employed.
    • Design Thinking: Structured and repeatable methods for employing design thinking for systems development.
    • Approaches: Novel methods to incorporate HF/E into different systems development approaches (e.g. Agile or CD/CI).

    VR & best regards,
