    Call for Nominations for the SDTG Board

    It is that time of year to elect our SDTG Officers. The current slate of officers will be moving on to new adventures in the near term and we have been honored to be stewards of this group over the last few years. Here are the open positions.

    • Technical Group Chair (2-year term): Runs the SDTG business meeting and represents SDTG at the Council of Technical Groups.
    • Program Chair (2-year): Oversees the conference program; recruits panelists and reviewers.
    • Secretary-Treasurer (1 year): Prepares the SDTG business meeting minutes, approves awards/business meeting expenses.
    • Other appointed officer positions available once the board is established – please inquire within.

    SDTG Leadership:

     

    As a prior SDTG Chair, I believe that the SD Technical Group needs to provide members with a lot more situation awareness of what is going on in the system development world:  DoD, NASA, DHS, other Federal Agencies, Industry, etc.

     

    I also think that the TG needs to provide members with more SA on what is happening with the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework!

     

    The SDTG MUST become more relevant to on-going developments, providing members with tools and strategies to cope with changes in Ferderal Acquisition Policy.
