In less than a month, the HFES Annual Meeting will convene virtually. And on the 10th anniversary of its founding, the PDTG/HCTG Networking Event will be held. The big difference this year is that you will have to sponsor your own food and drinks. But there will still be opportunities to see old friends and meet new ones. And there will still be door prizes which might more appropriately be called portal prizes. All PDTG and HCTG members are invited as are those who aspire to be members of those two TGs. Attendance at the Annual Meeting is encouraged, but not required.
This year the event will be spread over two days and attached to the TG Business Meetings for one hour as follows.
- September 30: HCTG Business Meeting from 3-5pm with Networking Event at 4-5pm
- October 2: PDTG Business Meeting from 1-3pm with Networking Event from 2-3pm
Registration will be required for the Networking Event so we know how many breakout rooms to plan for. Information on registration forms will be available soon.
Call for Sponsors
Door prizes will be given if sponsors step up to make them possible by contributing a nominal amount for which they will be acknowledged before, during, and after the event. The event planning committee (Farzan Sasangohar, Dan Odell and me) are asking sponsors to contribute $100-$200. The number and amount of portal prizes will depend on the sum collected.
